1. Who handles your data
FPSHost processes personal data to operate its website, accounts and game-hosting platform. For questions, access requests, corrections or deletion requests, contact admin@fpshost.net. When you host a community, you may separately be responsible for personal data you collect from your players; do not assume this website policy replaces your community’s own notices or obligations.
2. Information we process
Account details include your email, display name, password hash and account status. Optional profile details include first name, last name and profile image. We also process session records, IP addresses, user-agent information, security and audit events, server configuration and usage readings, job history, wallet entries and files or database content you choose to host. Contact requests contain your name, email and message. If you enable 2FA, we store an encrypted authenticator secret and hashed recovery codes, not the recovery codes in readable form.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, provide requested hosting, deliver support, manage service credits, diagnose failures and respond to abuse. Where applicable, the grounds are performance of the service contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform after considering your rights, compliance with legal obligations, or consent for genuinely optional purposes that require it. Agreeing to our Terms is not blanket consent to unrelated data use.
4. Cookies and browser storage
Essential HTTP-only cookies maintain authentication and refresh sessions. Access cookies last approximately 15 minutes; refresh sessions last up to one day, or up to 30 days when “Remember me” is selected, unless revoked earlier. Browser storage may keep interface preferences. These are used for service functionality. Any non-essential analytics or advertising tools introduced later must be assessed and disclosed, with consent where required.
5. Security checks and service providers
Hosting infrastructure and email-delivery providers process data needed to run the service. When Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, your browser connects to Cloudflare to perform an anti-bot check; Cloudflare may process technical device/network information under its own privacy notice. Authenticator QR codes are generated by FPSHost; the setup secret is not sent to a third-party QR website. We may disclose necessary information to competent authorities when legally required, and to professional advisers or providers under appropriate safeguards.
6. Locations and transfers
Data may be processed where our infrastructure and service providers operate, which may be outside your country. Contact us for information about relevant destinations, applicable transfer rules and safeguards. We do not claim that data stays in a particular country unless confirmed for your service.
7. Retention
We retain account and hosting information while needed to provide the service, meet legal duties and resolve disputes. Contact correspondence is kept as needed to handle the enquiry and any related follow-up. Security logs, expired sessions, backups and financial records may have different retention periods based on their purpose and applicable law. Deleting an account may not immediately remove copies from backup rotation or records we must retain. You may request details of the criteria and retention applying to your data.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis, without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may verify identity and explain lawful exceptions before acting. 9. Security and younger users
We use measures including encrypted connections where configured, password hashing, access controls and optional 2FA. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials and backups safe. The service is intended for adults or users supervised by a parent or guardian under our Terms. If you believe a child has supplied information without appropriate authorization, contact us.
10. Updates
This policy reflects the features supplied with the September 2026 release. Material changes to data practices will be reflected here and notified where required. Contact us if you need a copy of a previous notice.
